Junkyard Joe’s Debut Comic Book to Benefit Homeless Veterans in US and UK

Junkyard Joe's Debut Comic Book

Junkyard Joe, created by industry professional Geoff Johns, is set to star in his own comic book. The book will benefit homeless veterans in the United States and the United Kingdom. All proceeds from the book will go to two charities that help support these veterans.

Junkyard Joe – Supporting Veterans Across the US and UK

As an extension of the Unnamed Universe published by Image Comics, Junkyard Joe comes from the beloved pages of Geiger. The story revolves around the titular Junkyard Joe, a robot soldier who searches for the comic artist who is supposed to have created him, first appearing as a comic strip in Geiger. It is just one of the many stories that populate the Unnamed Universe timeline.

This October, Junkyard Joe #1 will have black and white variant covers, with the proceeds from purchasing the variants benefiting the charities NCHV and Veterans Aid. This is a significant cause to the creators, who have a family history deeply rooted in military service.

They believe that veterans deserve more support and gratitude. They hope that by providing these variant covers, they can help raise awareness for these charities’ work and encourage people to support them.

About the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans

Founded in 1984 by a group of concerned veterans, the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans (NCHV) is the oldest and largest national organization dedicated to ending homelessness among veterans. As the non-profit sector develops public policy, promotes collaboration, and builds the capacity of service providers, NCHV seeks to end veteran homelessness.

To accomplish its mission, NCHV provides public education, technical assistance, training, and advocacy.

About Veterans Aid

As a charity devoted to veterans and their families, Veterans Aid supports veterans, their families, and their families. In addition to providing financial assistance, housing support, and counseling, Veterans Aid also works to raise awareness of veterans and their families’ needs.

How To Purchase Variant Cover Editions Of Junkyard Joe
